Job Description

Handling Proposals /Tenders/ Estimations/ Client / Contracts

  • Develop business development capabilities of the company, together with business leaders in accordance with the business plan
  • Evaluate relevance and effectiveness of bidding procedures, workflow and follows set standard procedures. 
  • Presents proposals to client and persuading client to obtain business for the company.
  • Reviewing & preparing the tenders, estimations and preparation of cost estimation sheets.
  • Responsible for coordination with customer at pre-tender stage

Business Development Opportunities for Future / Client

  • Maintains relationships with key customers, consultants, owners and suppliers. 
  • Co-Ordination with Internal Execution - Operations, Engineering, Finance, Contract and Marketing Team.
  • Developing market in foundation engineering.

Collaboration with Internal & External Stakeholders 

  • Excellent collaboration with Execution - Operations, Engineering, Finance, Contract and Marketing Team. 
  • Co-coordinating with technical team to develop bid strategy and propose solution.
  • Identifying more clients and new Business Opportunities & Creating more networks in Market.
  • Responsible for providing input (customer requirement) to technical team. 
  • Responsible for developing data base for future reference

Inspire & Guide others

  • Develop guidance on bid strategy and contracts and provide guidance to the team as and when required. 
  • Team- Building Mentoring and resource allocation

Update with recent trends in market

  • Helps to Maintains an overview of the economy, construction market, monitors trends, and identifies opportunities and threats.

Other Activities

  • Write technical documents (reports, papers) for tender, marketing and other purposes. 
  • Responsible for presentation of foundation solutions to prospective customers

We Expect You Have

  • Understanding of Construction / Civil /Ground Engineering business/ with experience of dealing projects – including getting leads, bidding, costing, negotiating till signing of contract.
  • Understanding of foundation engineering market /customers’ requirements/ new techniques.
  • Knowledge of foundation engineering, construction industry.
  • Good communication, presentation & Negotiation skills.
  • Basis and understanding of project costs.
  • Good Proficiency in Excel.

6-8 Years of Exp in Sales /Business development 
B Tech / BE -Civil Engg /M Tech / ME -Geotechnical Engg (Desired)
