Job description
Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Hands on experience in foundation design, such as shallow and pile foundation.

Must have familiar with analysing geotechnical factual reports and borelogs.

Prepare geotechnical investigation plans including field investigations and laboratory testing.
-
Responsible for advanced geotechnical calculations.
-
Establish and deliver drawings and 3D-models.
-
Presents proposals to client and persuading client to obtain business for the company.
-
Develop market in ground engineering.
-
Co-coordinating with technical team to develop bid strategy and propose solution at pretender stage.
-
Design and propose remedial works for any geotechnical related defect/failure.
-
Prepare a technical justification report related to geotechnical scope of work.
-
Should be able to estimate bearing capacity of pile foundation in soil and rock.
-
Estimation of bearing capacity in shallow foundation in soil and rock and settlement analysis for different layers like clay and sand based on different method.
-
Pile design and analysis based on latest Indian standard codes.
-
Evaluation and mitigation of liquefaction of soil based on international and Indian standard Codes.

Candidate should be familiar with relevant codes and standards such IS2911, 6403 ,8009 part-1 &2 14593 &12070,2131 etc.

Responsible for technical presentation to prospective customers.

Write technical documents (reports, papers) for tender, marketing, and other purposes.

Work closely with peers, line manager and other discipline engineers to ensure delivery that will meet utility standards, industry standards and meet good engineering practices, policies, and procedures.

Knowledge of client requirement and organizations strength.

Understanding of foundation engineering market and customers.
Experience and Education: 07 to 10 years of exp. in foundation projects with B.E./ B.Tech in Civil Engg / Masters in Geotechnical Engg.
