The Project – showcasing our expertise and impeccable HSE record.
Keller was commissioned by a Japanese multinational company to execute piling works for the foundations of a new large-scale fertilizer complex in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh state, India. The sprawling fertilizer complex will consist of an ammonia plant with a capacity of 2,200 tons/day; a urea plant with a capacity of 3,850 tons/day; and a utility supply facility. The geography of the site was very challenging considering the area under piling. To complete this project within the stipulated time, Keller deployed 400 skilled personnel clocking 0.9 million safe man-hours while building a strong and reliable geo-technical structure. This dedicated and well-trained (local) workforce strictly complied with global HSEQ industry best practices throughout the project.
Safety – Our no.1 priority Keller’s commitment to the safety of our people and strength of the (infrastructure) throughout the fertilizer complex project earned us this coveted Award. It underscores our adherence to timely and quality delivery for our customers. We strive to ensure that every person who works for/with us goes home healthy and safely at the end of each day. With that we can proudly state that “Regardless of the size of the project, we have the people, expertise, experience and financial stability to respond quickly with the optimum solution, execute it safely and see it through to successful conclusion”.
